Kristen's Got (Beauty) Game

My first experience with Kristen Stewart was as Bella Swan, the female lead in Twilight. To put it lightly, it wasn't the best first impression. I was quick to dismiss her as just another actress using a franchise based off of books (which were so much better than the Twilight movies - just a quick aside) to get their foot into the industry. What I didn't know about Kristen Stewart - and what I couldn't have anticipated - was that she would become a style icon, muse for Karl Lagerfeld and a source of style and beauty inspiration for me.

In 2016 particularly, Kristen Stewart has been catching my eye on every red carpet she has stepped on. I mentioned her in my post about Cannes as one of my picks for best dressed, but beyond that, Kristen has been killing the beauty game at every turn. As the face of Chanel, she is often dressed in designs from Lagerfeld, unafraid of taking risks with her makeup to add a personal touch to Chanel's gorgeously intricate garments.

In this post I'm going to share a few of my favorite looks from Stewart circa 2016. My favorite trends: smoky eyes blended to perfection, colorblocked metallic shadow, punchy red lips, slicked back blonde locks and fresh skin.
